Full replacement is recommended far more often than it is necessary once a system passes ten years. Before committing to a new system, have us inspect the equipment and review the quote. If replacement is the better value we will confirm it. If a repair will carry the system several more seasons, we will document that instead.

Helping Hands is an independent, family-owned heating and cooling company based in Glendale. The owner holds the license, leads the work, and is accountable for every job.
After years in the Phoenix HVAC industry, Aaron Hoberg started Helping Hands to deliver the standard he saw disappearing as local companies were consolidated: accurate diagnostics, written pricing approved before work begins, and installations done to code.

Most calls in Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Scottsdale and Phoenix receive same-day service. When you call or text (602) 456-1464 we schedule a specific arrival window and send a text when the technician is en route.
Do you charge to come out and diagnose the problem?
For repairs, there is a $99 service fee to come out and diagnose the problem, and we waive it when you go ahead with the repair. Estimates for new systems and second opinions on replacement quotes are always free.
Another company told me I need a whole new AC. Do I?
Not necessarily. Full replacement is recommended far more often than it is required once a system passes ten years. We inspect the equipment, test the compressor and refrigerant circuit, and provide a written assessment of whether repair or replacement is the better value. The second opinion is free.
Are you licensed and insured in Arizona?
Yes. Helping Hands Heating and Cooling LLC holds Arizona ROC license #365835 (CR-39 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, dual residential and commercial), is bonded, and is fully insured. You can verify it any time on the AZ ROC website.
Which air conditioner and heating brands do you work on?
We service all makes and models. For new systems we install Trane, Goodman, Daikin, York, American Standard and Mitsubishi, and we recommend equipment based on your home and your budget, with a load calculation available upon request.
How often does an air conditioner in the Valley need a tune-up?
Twice a year: a spring tune-up before cooling season and a fall inspection before heating season. Arizona systems run more hours than almost anywhere in the country, and a clean coil and regular checks keep them running efficiently through the summer.
Do you service rooftop units on small commercial buildings?
Yes. We handle light commercial work, including rooftop package units for offices, shops and restaurants across the West Valley and Phoenix.
